Business owners, accountants, students, and public servants participated this Wednesday (20) in Santarém in the seminar "Jucepa in Motion," promoted by the Commercial Board of the State of Pará (Jucepa). The event took place in the auditorium of the Chamber of Shopkeepers (CDL) and presented practical guidance on the use of Redesim (National Network for the Simplification of the Registration and Legalization of Companies and Businesses), a tool that modernizes and simplifies the processes of opening, changing, and closing businesses.

During the program, Jucepa technicians detailed the digital flows available on the platform, clarified doubts, and highlighted how Redesim integrates federal, state, and municipal agencies to facilitate business formalization throughout the country.

The Secretary-General of Jucepa, Karla Dias, emphasized that the initiative expands society's access to the agency's services. "Our commitment is to make Jucepa's services increasingly accessible. Redesim represents agility, transparency, and legal security for those who wish to undertake, contributing to the economic and social development of Pará," she highlighted.

Regional impact and encouragement for formalization

For the representative of the Santarém Finance Department, Vilberto Sá da Silva, the simplification of procedures is essential to attract new investments. "Events like this bring the public power closer to the entrepreneur and show that legalization does not have to be a complex process. This further strengthens the economy of Santarém, which is a reference for the entire western region of Pará," he stated.

The delegate of the Regional Accounting Council (CRC) in Santarém, Luciene Costa Bezerra, emphasized the strategic role of accountants.
"The accountant is an essential link between the entrepreneur and the registration agencies. The training offered by Jucepa allows us to better guide our clients, ensuring security, transparency, and legality in business," she explained.

Expanding commerce

Considered the main pole city of western Pará, Santarém has a diversified commerce that serves the urban population, riverside communities, and neighboring municipalities. According to Jucepa, the services sector and retail account for a large part of the local economic movement, driven by tourism, port activity, and agribusiness.

In recent years, the growth of micro and small enterprises has stood out in the Santarém economy. Experts believe that the simplification of registration processes can further stimulate the formalization of businesses, increasing job and income generation in the region.

Itinerant project - The "Jucepa in Motion" is an itinerant initiative that travels through municipalities in Pará providing training, services, and information. The proposal is to bring public power closer to the productive sector and the academic community, strengthening dialogue and creating more favorable conditions for those who wish to undertake in the State.
