Sefa seizes over 28,000 cans of beer in São Francisco do Pará
Consultation of the systems confirmed the commercial intent of the purchase of the transported products, which requires the collection of ICMS
State revenue inspectors from the State Department of Finance (Sefa) seized, on Tuesday (19), 28,200 cans of beer during an inspection carried out at the tax post in São Francisco, northeastern Pará. The cargo is valued at R$ 63,000. The officials are assigned to the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit.
“The invoice indicated that the goods left Ananindeua and were going to the city of Capanema, and the recipient was an individual. A consultation of the systems showed that the recipient purchased 2 million reais in goods in the year 2025, thus characterizing the commercial intent of these purchases, which requires the collection of the state tax, ICMS,” explained the coordinator of the tax unit, Volnandes Pereira.
A Term of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) was drawn up, in the amount of R$11,000.
