Cultural Foundation of Pará holds cordel workshop at the Pan-Amazonian Book Fair this Tuesday (19)
Activity is part of the free programming at the FCP booth, at Hangar, with workshops, discussions, and autograph sessions
The Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP) will hold the workshop "The Cordel in Southeastern Pará – In Defense of the Amazon" this Tuesday (19), with popular poet Adão Almeida from Marabá. The activity will take place from 10 AM to 12 PM at the FCP booth during the Pan-Amazonian Book and Multivoices Fair, at Hangar – Amazon Convention and Fair Center, in Belém.
The daily programming of the Foundation at the fair is free and offers the public a wide agenda with literary discussions, autograph sessions, storytelling, and activities aimed at valuing the cultural production of Pará, especially from the southeastern region of the state.
Programming for this Tuesday (19)
10 AM to 12 PM – Workshop "The Cordel of Southeastern Pará in Defense of the Amazon" with Adão Almeida, and discussion "Literature and Reader Formation" with Evilângela Lima.
2 PM to 4 PM – Commented autograph session for the book "Romeu e Dhulieta na Terra do Brega" by Rizaldo Pereira.
3 PM to 5 PM – Discussion "Female Protagonism in the Literature of Southeastern Pará" and book launch by author Francisca Cerqueira.
4 PM to 5 PM – Storytelling "Retelling Machado de Assis" with Socorro Miranda.
5 PM to 7 PM – Discussion "Mining, Territory, and Literary Resistance" with Airton Souza.
7 PM to 8:30 PM – Autograph session with Stefano Paixão, author of "Where the River Splits in Two", and discussion "Literature, Comics, and Cinema" with Luiz Arnaldo Campos.
