Inspectors from the State Department of Finance (Sefa), assigned to the Coordination of Goods in Transit Control in Itinga, in Dom Eliseu, a municipality in southeastern Pará, seized on Sunday (17) a hydraulic crane, valued at R$ 317 thousand, coming from Caxias do Sul (RS) destined for Belém (PA).

“The merchandise was covered by a sales invoice to a legal entity that is not an ICMS taxpayer, a situation in which the Differential Rate (Difal) should have been collected, the payment of which was not located. Given the irregularity, a Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was drawn up, in the amount of R$ 267,254.56, corresponding to the tax due and the fine for the infraction,” reported coordinator Rafael Brasil.

Cattle – In the Coordination of Goods in Transit Control in Gurupi, in the municipality of Cachoeira do Piriá, northeastern Pará, on the border of Pará with Maranhão, state revenue inspectors also seized on Sunday 78 heads of cattle without an invoice. The load had left Nazaré do Piauí (PI), destined for Altamira (PA).

“The driver of the cage-type vehicle, with 78 heads of cattle, presented the Animal Transport Guide (GTA) for the cattle to the inspection. The driver stated that he did not have an invoice for the load. A total value of R$ 200,138.84 was arbitrated, using the State's minimum price bulletin as a reference, and a Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was drawn up, in the amount of R$ 68,447.48, corresponding to the tax and fine for the tax-related infraction,” explained coordinator Gustavo Bozola.
