Civil Police executes preventive arrest warrant against member of CV from Guamá, in Ceará
The suspect is being investigated for involvement in an attempted homicide against a military police officer

On last Friday, the 15th, the Civil Police of Pará, in a joint action with the Civil Police of Ceará, executed two arrest warrants: one for robbery and another related to an attempted homicide against a military police officer.
The arrest took place in Fortaleza, Ceará, in a joint operation of the Police Intelligence Nucleus (NIP), Homicide Delegacy of Public Agents (DHAP), Specialized Police Directorate (DPE), Task Force of Factions (GTF), and teams from the Civil Police of Ceará (PCCE), including the Intelligence Department (DIP), Department for the Repression of Organized Crime (DRCO), Narcotics Delegacy (DENARC), and Delegacy for the Repression of Organized Criminal Actions (DRACO).
In addition to the executed warrants, the man, known as "Biruta," is also being investigated by the Homicide Delegacy of Public Agents (DHAP) for the attempted homicide against a military police officer.
According to General Delegate Raimundo Benassuly, the arrest represents the strength of the Civil Police in combating organized crime. "We reaffirm the commitment of the Civil Police of Pará to protect society and ensure that serious crimes against public agents do not go unpunished. This action reinforces confidence in the integrated work of police intelligence and the institution's determination to face factions firmly," he emphasized.
The investigations also indicate that the suspect is part of the criminal faction Comando Vermelho and holds a leadership position in the Guamá neighborhood in Belém, coordinating illegal activities such as drug trafficking and extortion of merchants, in addition to ordering violent actions in the region. It was also found that the suspect used a false identity document while carrying out criminal activities and commanded faction actions in the capital of Pará.
"This joint operation reflects the importance of the union of efforts between the Civil Police of Pará and Ceará, resulting in the arrest of a target of high investigative relevance. The integrated action shows that the dedicated work of the teams is essential to contain the advance of factions and strengthen the protection of society and our police officers," highlighted delegate Evandro Araújo, Director of Specialized Police (DPE).
The suspect was considered one of the main targets investigated for committing serious crimes against state agents, being directly responsible or participating in violent actions that threatened the lives of military and civil police officers.
