PMPA strengthens force for the holiday of Pará's Adherence to Independence
On Friday (15), the Military Police of Pará began the “OPERATION ADESÃO DO PARÁ 2025”, focusing on the safety of those seeking the beaches and resorts of the state during the holiday.
The Metropolitan Region of Belém (RMB) and the interior of the state will see an increase in personnel being deployed from the capital to locations such as Mosqueiro, Cotijuba, Curuçá, Marapanim, Marudá, Maracanã (Algodoal), Colares, São Caetano de Odivelas, São Domingos do Capim, Salinópolis, Bragança (Ajuruteua), Barcarena, Abaetetuba (Vila de Beja), Mocajuba, Cametá, Salvaterra, and Soure, in addition to Portel.
According to the head of the General Operations Department, Col. Getúlio, the operation will extend until next Monday (18) and will cover the municipalities of the state. “The operation will include reinforcements from police officers in the capital who will be sent to locations with the highest number of people. Our officers are prepared to ensure greater safety for the population, so they can enjoy this extended holiday without unforeseen events,” he stated.
Additionally, the actions will include inspections on highways and visible policing at the main beaches and resorts of the state. With the intensification of operations, the expectation is that the population can enjoy the holiday in a calm and safe manner, reiterating the Military Police's commitment to serve and protect the people of Pará.
