Cultural Foundation of Pará promotes workshops, debates, and launches during the Pan Amazon Fair

The FCP program also includes cultural presentations and a morning of activities aimed at children

The Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP) participates in the 28th Pan-Amazon Book and Multivoices Fair, which takes place in Belém, from August 16 to 22, at Hangar - Convention Center. This year, the honorees of the Fair are Master Damasceno, a reference in the quilombola culture of Marajó, and writer Wanda Monteiro, author and researcher of the literary legacy of Baixo Amazonas.

In addition to being a stage for book launches, workshops, cultural presentations, and debates, the FCP booth also brings to the Pan Amazon Fair part of the Cultural Market of the Foundation, a space where the public can learn about and purchase handcrafted products resulting from the workshops of the Curro Velho nucleus. Admission is free and takes place from 9 am to 10 pm, with entry until 9 pm.

WORKSHOPS - In addition to literary activities, the Cultural Foundation of Pará will promote workshops during the Pan Amazon Fair. The first one, "Ancestral Tales in Comics," will be on Monday, the 18th, starting at 2 pm.

On Tuesday, the 19th, starting at 10 am, the workshop "The Cordel of Southeast Pará in Defense of the Amazon" will be held, taught by Adão Almeida, followed by the chat "Literature and Reader Formation," with Evilângela Lima.

On Thursday, the 21st, also starting at 10 am, there will be the Workshop on Plastic Fusion: Art and Fashion, taught by Ana Luz Dias, who will show how plastic that would be discarded can be transformed into a desirable fashion item.

On Friday morning, the Workshop "Voices of Baixo Amazonas: Literature, Audiovisual, and Theater in Dialogue," promoted by Mourrambert Flexa from Santarém, will close the week of training.

Children's - On Sunday, the 17th, the FCP program extends to the Multivoices Arena where activities focused on the youth audience will be held throughout the morning.

The program starts at 9:30 am with a scenic show with Pedro Bolha, "The Bubble Players." At 10 am, there will be the theatrical show "The Cabaninhos and the Almost Lost Future." At 10:45 am, the presentation of the GirandoLê group of Stories begins, and at 11:30 am, the puppet theater show "The Lament of Matinta" will take place.

Cultural Presentations - The FCP space at the Pan Amazon Fair will also be the stage for cultural presentations. The first one takes place on the opening night of the event, the 16th, with the Amazonian Poetic Sarau, with the Academy of Letters of Ananindeua, at 7 pm.

On Wednesday, the 20th, starting at 6 pm, there will be presentations of the São Caetano de Odivelas mask bull and the Marujada de Bragança.

Saturday, August 16

The program opens at 10 am with the robotics show from SESI School, in addition to the Central Station of COP at the Book Fair. From 2 pm to 4 pm, there will be two autograph sessions: the first with Marcos Bonaventura, author of the book "Pequenos Parauaras," followed by Thiago Carone, with the work "Interregno."

Starting at 4:30 pm, there will be two launches: "Voices of the Amazon - Collection of Poems, Tales, and Chronicles," by Vanda Amin, and "Linguistic Concepts in the Enem," by Hugo Henrique Silva, as well as the autograph session for the book "Viseu, A Charm in Every Corner," by Jair Mauríl. To close the day, the booth will host the Amazonian Poetic Sarau, with the Academy of Letters of Ananindeua.

Sunday, August 17 – Voices of Marajó

The activities begin at 10 am, with the Central Station of COP and the launch of the book "Enchanted Buffalo of Mbará," by Luís Conceição, followed by the launch of "Incredible Poetic Mind," by Rejani Aguiar. Later, there will be the chat "The Literary Wealth of Marajó: Voices that Inspire Dilomeno Anthologies," with Márcio Soure and Marcos Samuel.

At 4:30 pm, the program "Library of Wisdom" will take place, with a chat about the book from the Mururé Children's Reading Club, screening of the short film "The Wisdom of Books," and continuation of the chat about the literature of Marajó.

The day ends with a chat with authors of the book "Coffee, Pupunha, and Poetry," followed by the autograph session for the book "Between and the Light of Fireflies, Ananin," by Janice Lima. Concurrently, there will be youth activities in the Multivoices Arena, including theater presentations and scenic shows, such as "The Bubble Players," "The Cabaninhos and the Almost Lost Future," GirandoLê group of Stories, and "The Lament of Matinta."

Monday, August 18 – Metropolitan Voices

The program starts at 10 am with Regional Authorial Songs from EEEFM Dep. João Carlos Batista, in addition to the Mulherio das Letras Ecoada, with the theme "Paraense Feminine Literature: A Universal Voice."

At 2 pm, there will be the conversation circle "Feminist Groups as Devices for the Decolonization of Psychology," with psychologist Bárbara Sordi, followed by the autograph session for the book "Grief is Tide" and the Ancestral Tales in Comics Workshop.

In the evening, starting at 7 pm, "Authors of Themselves: Resistance and Literary Power in Ananindeua," with Rejani Aguiar, Jenifer Yara, and other authors, will take place, followed by the chat "Text Production: Promotion of Paraense Literary Expression," with Daniel da Rocha Leite and Dayane Ferreira.

Tuesday, August 19 – Voices of Southeast Pará

The day begins with the workshop "The Cordel of Southeast Pará in Defense of the Amazon," taught by Adão Almeida, followed by the chat "Literature and Reader Formation," with Evilângela Lima.

From 3 pm to 5 pm, there will be the table "Female Protagonism in the Literature of Southeast Pará," followed by the book launch by Francisca Cerqueira. Then, there will be a commented autograph session, to the sound of Pará's brega, for the book "Romeo and Dhulieta in the Land of Brega," by Rizaldo Pereira.

Other activities include the chat "Mining, Territory, and Literary Resistance," with Airton Souza, the storytelling "Retelling Machado de Assis," by Socorro Miranda, and the autograph session of Stefano Paixão, author of "Where the River Splits in Two." The day ends with the chat "Literature, Comics, and Cinema," with Luiz Arnaldo Campos.

Wednesday, August 20 – Voices of Northeast Pará

The program includes the Maria Luzia de Jesus Gualberto Exhibition, open to the public, and the chat "Cabocas Read, Cabocas Write: Voices of Northeast Pará," led by Lucideyse Abreu.

Writer Geovane Belo participates in the poetic dialogue about the children's book "For My Father, the Boto," followed by the launch and the Circle of Reading Poems from the book "Imaginary Needs."

At 6 pm, there will be the chat "Visual Aesthetics of Mask Bulls: Buchudos, Masks, and Visuality," with Rondi Palha, followed, at 7 pm, by the presentation of the São Caetano de Odivelas Mask Bull and the Marujada de Bragança. The day ends with the chat "Literature, Knowledge, Art, and Life: the Cametaense Writing of ALC/Cametá Authors," with Ângela Maria.

Thursday, August 21 – Voices of Southwest Pará

The day begins with the Workshop on Plastic Fusion: Art and Fashion, taught by Ana Luz Dias, followed by the autograph session for the book "The Impacts of Climate Change: The Strategy of Ecological Urbanism," by Sebastião Ribeiro Xavier Júnior.

The program continues with the chat "Production of Mobile Media Content," led by Diogo Vianna and mediated by Célia Pinto.

Another highlight is the chat in two moments: dialogue about the curation and production of the International Literary Festival of Xingu (FLIX), and the launch of the book "Migrating Women in the Amazon: Trajectories and Protagonism in the Transamazon," with Maria Ivonete.

In addition, there will be autograph sessions with João de Castro, author of "Anonymous in History," and Bira Lima, author of "Details of a Life." The day ends with the chat with the writers of the book "Liversos."

Friday, August 22 – Voices of Baixo Amazonas

The program begins with the conversation circle "Building a State System of Paraense Culture," mediated by Daniel Veiga, state cultural advisor.

Next, the workshop "Voices of Baixo Amazonas: Literature, Audiovisual, and Theater in Dialogue" will take place. The day also includes the chat "The Handmade Book as Creative Writing," with Josiana Souza and mediation by Elaine Oliveira, and the chat "Literature and Music," with Renato Torres.

Following that, there will be the autograph session for the book "Blue Pearl: The Beginning of the Adventure," by Josué Gouvêa. The activities will conclude with the chats "Songs of the Earth: The Symphony of a Paraense Writer," with Ana Maria Tourinho, and "The Paraense Literary Production," with Otávio Pessoa.
