Seaster holds emergency selection for security guards and attracts over 200 candidates in Belém
Sine's action integrates the Government of Pará's preparation plan for COP30, which will be held in November in the capital of Pará

The Government of Pará, through the Secretary of Social Assistance, Labor, Employment and Income (Seaster) and the National Employment System (Sine), held an emergency selection for the hiring of security guards in Belém this Thursday (14). The initiative, which is part of the preparation plan for the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP30), attracted around 220 candidates for the filling of 38 immediate vacancies.
The opportunities are for work in hotels in the capital of Pará, which are being prepared to receive tourists, delegations, and authorities during COP30, scheduled for November this year. The selection was requested by a private security company, recently established in Belém and operating in several states across the country.
Selection process and high demand
According to Seaster, the selection process consisted of three stages: individual interviews, professional profile assessment, and analysis of experience in the area of property security. Criteria such as professional posture and physical fitness were also considered. Pre-registration began on Wednesday (13), and the quick call was necessary due to the urgency in hiring.

“We are conducting an emergency selection for the position of security guard, requested by a company that will provide services in hotels aimed at COP30. There are more than 30 vacancies, and over 200 candidates participated. The announcement was made in category groups and on Seaster's social media, which contributed to the high demand. We continue to work to expand job opportunities, income generation, and social promotion,” highlighted Rolando Batista, coordinator of labor intermediation at Seaster.
Registration at Sine
Interested candidates for future opportunities can register in person at Seaster's Sine, located at Travessa Padre Eutíquio, 1308, Batista Campos neighborhood, in Belém. Service is available from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm, upon presentation of ID, CPF, and updated resume.
Attention: This Friday (15), there will be no service at Sine/Seaster due to the state holiday of Pará's Adherence to Independence.
