Advanced Instrumental English Course for public servants of Pará is open for registration
Online classes start on August 18 and are part of the qualification program for COP30
The Public Governance School of the State of Pará (EGPA) is open for registration for the advanced module of the Instrumental English course aimed at state and municipal public servants. The training, offered online and lasting 50 hours, is part of the Capacita COP30 program, an initiative of the Government of Pará to qualify public service professionals and strengthen the state's participation in the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP30), which will take place in Belém.
The classes will be conducted in the Distance Learning (EaD) modality and will begin next Monday, August 18. The end date is scheduled for September 21, with a certificate issued. Registrations must be made on the EGPA website.
The advanced module concludes the learning path of Instrumental English promoted by EGPA to develop essential communication skills for participation in international events, such as the climate conference. The path also includes basic and intermediate modules, totaling 150 hours of classes, and is open to any state or municipal public servant who has a technical cooperation agreement with EGPA. It is not necessary to have completed the previous stages to enroll in the advanced module.
According to the general director of EGPA, Helvio Arruda, the Capacita COP30 program, which has already qualified more than 22,000 professionals, has been contributing to improving the work carried out in public service in different areas. “This program is successful in providing public servants of our state with the instrumental knowledge for the streets,” he stated.
