Jucepa implements Regin 2.0 and accelerates company openings in Belém and Castanhal
New technology automates feasibility consultation and reduces response time from days to seconds, benefiting entrepreneurs from Pará
The Government of Pará, through the Commercial Board of the State of Pará (Jucepa), has taken another step in modernizing public services with the implementation of the Regin 2.0 system in the municipalities of Belém and Castanhal. The new technology automates the feasibility consultation process, one of the most relevant initial steps in the company opening process, reducing the analysis time from days to minutes, and in many cases, seconds.
The Regin 2.0 represents a significant advance in the bureaucratization of the business environment in Pará. Through a technical partnership between Jucepa and the municipalities of Belém and Castanhal, a complete mapping of the urban zoning rules of each municipality was carried out. The information was decoded and integrated into the system, allowing the feasibility consultation process - previously manual and subject to procedures between various agencies - to now be carried out instantly and automatically.
With this innovation, entrepreneurs can immediately check if a specific economic activity is permitted at a specific address, which contributes to legal security, agility in formalizing the business, and greater confidence in investment planning.
Direct impact for those who want to undertake

“Regin 2.0 is a game changer for the business environment in Pará. We are delivering to the entrepreneur what they need most: time and security,” highlighted Filipe Meireles, president of Jucepa. “With this automation in Belém and Castanhal, we have eliminated uncertainty and waiting, allowing the entrepreneur to focus on what really matters: generating jobs and income.”
According to the manager of the Commercial Registration of Jucepa, Roberto Canelas, the initiative also benefits the internal management of the Board: “The implementation of Regin 2.0 brings unprecedented efficiency, not only for the entrepreneur but also for our team. Automation reduces errors, speeds up data analysis, and allows us to direct our efforts towards the continuous improvement of services.”

Expansion to other municipalities
The positive experience with Regin 2.0 in Belém and Castanhal positions the two municipalities at the forefront of the modernization of public services in Pará. Jucepa is studying the expansion of the technology to other cities in Pará, reinforcing the State Government's commitment to simplifying processes and encouraging entrepreneurship in all regions.
