Municipal and state servers of Pará can now enroll in the Bachelor's degree course for Technologist in Public Management
The initiative aims to enhance professional skills and strengthen state public management. Enrollments for the in-person course will be open until September 8.
The Government of the State of Pará, through the School of Public Governance of the State of Pará (EGPA), started on this Monday (11), exclusively on the EGPA website, the enrollments for the Bachelor's degree course in Technologist in Public Management. This unprecedented action in the institution's history will have a total of 100 vacancies divided into two classes (afternoon) starting in the first and second semesters of 2026.

The course aims to train public servants to work in public administration, promoting a more efficient, transparent management aligned with the needs of society, as well as developing essential skills for the improvement of public services.
The participation requirements are: to be an effective state or municipal public servant, to have proof of effective linkage with an agency or entity of direct or indirect Public Administration, state or municipal. For municipal servers, only registrations from municipalities that have a valid Technical Cooperation Agreement (ACT) with EGPA will be accepted, which can be verified on the institution's website. The interested party must be regularly exercising their functions, have a minimum education level, have a minimum service time of one year, and the approval of their immediate supervisor. The vacancies in this selection process will be distributed into three categories: municipal public servant, person with disabilities, and state public servant.
According to Helvio Arruda, general director of EGPA, the course is unprecedented in the institution's history. "The higher education course in Technological Graduation in Public Management meets a repressed demand that has been counted for 20 years, that is, this will be the first Higher Course offered by the School of Public Governance to the effective servers of our state," explains the director.
The Simplified Selection Process will consist of three phases:
- First phase: enrollment, the choice of quotas according to Affirmative Action Policies, and confirmation of enrollment;
- Second phase: analysis of the resume and high school or equivalent history;
- Third phase: evaluation of the candidate's qualification documents for pre-registration, analyzing the documentation submitted to the affirmative policy;
- The Simplified Selection Process will be coordinated by the Directorate of the Institute of Professional and Higher Education (Diseg) and by the Coordination of the Center for Graduation and Vocational Courses (CGP).
