Government of Pará boosts family farming with delivery of new agricultural equipment
The municipalities of Belterra, Faro, Pacajá, and Uruará were awarded a backhoe, a loader, and motor graders. An investment of R$ 3 million

The delivery of new agricultural equipment is one of the strategies of the State Government to boost family farming in Pará. On this Monday (11), it was the turn of the municipalities of Belterra, Faro, Pacajá, and Uruará to receive reinforcements for production through the Pará Rural program.
"There are R$ 3 million in investments in heavy equipment that will help open roads, new routes, ensure more infrastructure, and greater production for the municipalities of Belterra, Uruará, Pacajá, and Faro. This equipment is essential for the development of the municipalities in Pará," emphasizes the State Governor, Helder Barbalho, who participated in the delivery ceremony held at the Government Palace.
The acquisition of a backhoe for Belterra, a loader for Faro, and motor graders for Pacajá and Uruará ensures better conditions for the flow of production and directly contributes to improving the quality of life for small producers. The machines will support essential works and services for rural infrastructure, benefiting hundreds of families who depend on agricultural activity for their livelihood and income generation, in partnership with state deputy Ângelo Ferrari and federal deputy Júnior Ferrari.
The president of Pará Rural, Felipe Picanço, highlights the importance of the current administration's incentive and support for family farming in the State. "We are working intensively to benefit these small producers with a better quality of life, strengthen agricultural equipment, improve the flow of production, and make family farming a sustainable development mode for our State," he states.

A dream come true for the people of Belterra. This is how the mayor of the municipality, Professor Ulisses Alves, defines the receipt of the new equipment. "We can only thank this present administration that is sensitive to the needs of the municipalities. This backhoe will be very useful to start working with fish farming in our municipality and also with irrigation. It will serve to dig and create tanks, so that we can promote the work of our family farmers," he highlights.
The mayor of Uruará, Carlos Antônio Zancan, also celebrates the state initiative. "Our municipality will receive this achievement with open arms, which will benefit, especially, our farmers, boosting greater trafficability for rural producers to flow their production. This brings development to our municipality. I want to thank this human approach of the Government towards our producers; we can only be grateful," he celebrates.

For the mayor of Faro, Paulo Carvalho, the new equipment will help, above all, in the maintenance of rural roads. "Very useful machinery for a city like ours, with many rural roads. Only the State Government could promote and invest in this equipment, which has a high value and many municipalities would not be able to afford to buy," he explains.
The mayor of Pacajá, André Rezende, also intends to recover rural roads after the delivery of the motor grader to the municipality. "We will rebuild rural roads, which are so important for our municipality, which has over 8,000 kilometers of roads. The initiative will help our rural producers, the farmers, to flow their production more easily, thanks to better access," he concludes.
