Usina da Paz completes one month transforming lives in Bragança, in northeastern Pará
In its first month of operation, the state citizenship complex has already provided around 3,500 services to the Bragança population
The Usina da Paz in Bragança celebrates, this Friday (8), one month of operation. During this period, it has established itself as a reference in welcoming, citizenship, and opportunities for residents of the municipality in northeastern Pará. Inaugurated on July 8, the Bragança UsiPaz was the 15th unit of the largest citizenship project in Latin America delivered in Pará, providing the local population with state-of-the-art facilities and free services in health, social assistance, culture, education, professional qualification, sports, and leisure.
Since its opening, around 3,500 services have already been provided at the unit, including document issuance, health services, course enrollments, sports practices, and cultural workshops. The numbers show how much the Usina da Paz has already been incorporated into the daily lives of the Bragança population, as resident Núbia da Costa recounts.
“The Usina da Paz provided me with several gynecological and dental services, in addition to helping me get quick tests done. This is very satisfying. My daughter also plays sports here, and this is very good for the children and youth in our community. I hope it continues like this, and I congratulate everyone for the service we have here,” said the resident.
The little student Marcela Raiol is also one of the regular visitors to the Usina da Paz in Bragança and made a point of demonstrating the importance that the public facility already has in her life.
“The Usina da Paz is a very important place for me. The sports activities have changed my life. Since I was little, I have always dreamed of playing the guitar, and now I am learning to play here at the Usina,” Marcela shared.
For the coordinator of the Usina da Paz Bragança, Ana Solange Parente, the positive changes in the community are noticeable. “I evaluate this first month very positively. A month of hard work and inclusion for the community. The Usina came to transform people's lives, and today we can already see this sense of belonging from the families in our community,” she declared.
Usina da Paz Bragança - Located on Avenida Juscelino Kubitschek, the UsiPaz Bragança has a built area of approximately 7,000 square meters and features a modern and functional structure, offering more than 70 free services and assistance in health, education, social assistance, culture, sports, and leisure.
The state citizenship complex consists of two main buildings, Usina and Assistance, which have structured rooms for providing services such as document issuance, vocational courses, medical, dental, and psychological care, legal guidance, among others; as well as spaces like libraries and study, music, and computer rooms. The unit also has areas for sports, cultural, and leisure activities, such as a multipurpose gym, sand court, outdoor gym, theater, playground, and swimming pool.
“This first month of activities demonstrates the great adherence of the community to the actions offered by the Usina da Paz in Bragança. We continue to work to bring more citizenship, dignity, and opportunities to the population. The UsiPaz has already become a reference point and a transformation for Bragança families, and our commitment is to continue expanding and strengthening this service in Bragança and throughout the state,” stated the Secretary of State for Citizenship Coordination, Elieth Braga.
