Military Police and Coordination of Círio align security actions for the 2025 edition
Institutional meeting reinforced strategic partnership to ensure tranquility during the largest religious manifestation in the Amazon
The Military Police of Pará (PMPA) received, on this Thursday (07), representatives from the Coordination of the Nazaré Festival to align the planning of security actions for Círio 2025. The institutional visit to the General Command of the corporation, in Belém, strengthens the partnership between the institutions in preparing for the largest religious manifestation in the Amazon region.
The General Commander of PMPA, Colonel Dilson Júnior, highlighted the commitment of the State Government, through the corporation, to ensure a safe and organized event. "Security is essential for Círio. We have a State that is available for the population to live their faith peacefully. The Military Police has acted strategically, with advance planning, and we are ready to support, as always, this very special moment for the people of Pará. Círio is a collective construction, and the PM opens its doors, as every year, and in 2025, it will be no different," said the commander.
Advance planning and integrated action
During the meeting, representatives from the Nazaré Festival Directorate reinforced that the planning for the 2025 edition has been underway since last year, with periodic meetings with partner agencies, ensuring an aligned structure for the realization of the processions and religious activities.
"Our commitment is to ensure that the population feels safe to live their faith. All institutions have been partners, and the Military Police, once again, demonstrates total support for the realization of Círio. We are being received in the best way and confident that we will have another edition marked by peace and organization," declared Antonio Souza, coordinating director of Círio 2025.
Official poster and integration with the DGO
As a form of gratitude and a symbol of the beginning of the partnership, the coordinators presented the General Commander with the official poster of Círio 2025. The Military Police will continue to act in an integrated manner through the General Operations Department (DGO), ensuring the planning and execution of coordinated actions for the safety of the devotees throughout the festive period.
