New Ciretran of Marabá reaches one year with structural advancements and 5,000 attendances per month
Unification of services and improvements in public service with good facilities are highlights of the new Detran agency in the municipality

The new headquarters of the Regional Traffic Circumscription (Ciretran) of Marabá, in southeastern Pará, has completed one year of operation after undergoing a complete reconstruction last year. Delivered in 2024 by the state government, the agency ensures significant improvements in service delivery to the population, focusing on structure, efficiency, and quality in public service.
Since its opening, the new unit of the State Department of Traffic (Detran) has stood out for its modern and comfortable accommodations, providing a faster and more welcoming experience for citizens. With an air-conditioned environment, efficient signage, organized triage, and full accessibility, the space offers better conditions for users and staff.
With the reconstruction of the building, the Ciretran now features a playroom, landscaping, new air conditioning, modernized individual rooms, new furniture, an expanded inspection and supervision area, new equipment in the service and examination areas, and also preventive fire safety, in addition to various other structural improvements.

Among the main advancements is the unification of licensing and vehicle services in one location, which has allowed for smoother processes and increased service capacity. Currently, the unit performs about 5,000 attendances per month, including CNH deliveries, vehicle services, inspections, and other procedures.
“With the delivery of the new headquarters, we were able to integrate all services, improve internal flow, and provide more effective service. This directly impacts user satisfaction,” highlights the manager of Ciretran in Marabá, Francisco Thoiamy Ferreira.
He emphasizes that the constant pursuit of efficiency requires the connection of various factors, such as adequate infrastructure and a trained team. “The population enters the agency and is surprised by the structure; since many only seek Detran every five or ten years, this good impression tends to be lasting and positive,” adds the manager.
The Ciretran of Marabá has also invested in the qualification of service, focusing on humanization, active listening, and agility. “We know that public service is always a challenge. Therefore, we seek to optimize processes and listen to users so that we can deliver increasingly better service,” reinforces the manager.
For the general director of Detran, Renata Coelho, the new headquarters represents the agency's commitment to modernization and valuing the citizen. “Marabá is a strategic hub for Pará, and the new structure is the result of work focused on efficiency and welcoming; Ciretran is open to serve, listen, and seek constant improvements, always with the goal of ensuring effective, humanized, and quality public services, and the results of this first year show that we are on the right track,” emphasized the director.
