Cultural Foundation of Pará opens registrations for online documentary script course
Free training will take place from August 12 to 20, with 25 spots and a focus on contemporary non-fiction production
The Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP) is open for registrations until 10 AM next Monday (11) for the free course "Laboratory of Script for Documentary." The training will be conducted online, from August 12 to 20, always from 7 PM to 11 PM, and offers 25 spots for professionals and students in the audiovisual field. Register here!
Focused on technical and creative improvement, the course proposes theoretical and practical activities, emphasizing narratives of contemporary non-fiction production, character construction, point of view, and formats used in the documentary universe. In addition, participants will have access to content on commercialization and the international landscape of documentary projects.
Content structured by thematic axes
"The program content includes four axes of classes where participants will have contact with theory and practice, working with narratives, character construction, point of view, and the formats of the devices that integrate the documentary universe," explains the course instructor, Muriel Alves.
A documentary filmmaker and non-fiction screenwriter, Muriel Alves has national and international training and works in commercial productions for streaming platforms with global reach. According to him, the initiative represents an opportunity for professional qualification in the segment.
"The laboratory of script for documentary is an opportunity to elevate the professional level of documentary projects and provide participants with knowledge to empower and train new documentary filmmakers," he concludes.
