The Civil Police of Pará continues, this Friday (1st), with reinforcement in policing in Salinópolis and Bragança, municipalities in northeastern Pará, during the last weekend of Operation Summer 2025. The actions include intensified personnel on the beaches, emphasizing the prevention and repression of crimes, and ensuring the safety of the local population and vacationers.

Representatives of the security forces met at the Integrated Command and Control Center (CICC), of the State Secretariat for Public Security and Social Defense (Segup), to align the latest strategies of the Operation, which will conclude on Monday (4).

Meeting at the Integrated Command and Control Center aligned the latest strategies of Operation Summer

In Salinópolis, the police reinforcement consists of 53 civil police officers, including members of the Special Resources Coordination (Core), the Specialized Division for Environment and Animal Protection (Demapa), the Administrative Police Directorate (DPA), and the Directorate for Assistance to Vulnerable Groups (DAV). The teams are acting on the streets to curb crimes and preserve public order.

Results - For Delegate Hennison Jacob, director of the Interior Police (DPI), the police reinforcement during the summer period was essential for bringing good results. "The assessment is positive both in Salinópolis and in the State, in general. The security forces acted in an integrated manner, and there were no serious occurrences, neither in busier resorts, such as Salinas and Alter do Chão (in Santarém), nor in those with less movement. Everything went according to the plan set by Segup and the Civil Police. The population has praised the work of the Civil Police, which today has qualified professionals capable of providing quick responses to crimes. Cases that are still unsolved are under investigation, and those responsible will be brought to justice," emphasized the delegate.

The teams were also present on the beaches of Bragança, carrying out inspection and repression actions, aiming to prevent criminal practices at the end of the summer season.

Evaluation - Delegate Rayrton Carneiro, from the Regional Superintendence of Caeté, positively evaluated Operation Summer in Salinópolis, highlighting the continuous action of the Civil Police in preventive and repressive actions, in partnership with other security agencies.

"There was a reduction in crime compared to previous years. At the conclusion of the Operation, the Civil Police continues to act in the drafting of procedures, public service, and in integrated actions with the Detran, to combat the driving of vehicles by unlicensed individuals. The police also act in the inspection of the use of automotive sound on the beaches of Atalaia and Farol Velho, in compliance with the court decision that restricts the use of sound between 6 PM and 6 AM, aiming to ensure the peace of vacationers," highlighted Delegate Rayrton Carneiro.
