A group of 41 women assisted by the ParáPaz Mulher unit in Ananindeua, from the ParáPaz Foundation, participated in an institutional visit to Natura's factory, located in Benevides, in the Metropolitan Region of Belém. The action, carried out in partnership with the Women's Secretariat (Semu), aimed to stimulate the development of an entrepreneurial vision and strengthen financial autonomy.

During the visit, they closely learned about the factory's operations, from the arrival of raw materials, the entire production process, logistics, to the finalization of products, and were enchanted. The ParáPaz Foundation has invested in actions that encourage the empowerment and financial independence of women in situations of violence, being part of the support provided to them.

The coordinator of ParáPaz Mulher, Rosa Paes, emphasized that this initiative goes beyond psychological support. “During the experience, they were able to ask questions, exchange information, and have direct contact with the corporate environment. Our role is also to open pathways. To show that there is life after violence and that they can, indeed, start over with dignity.”

J., one of the participants, really enjoyed the program that deviated from the traditional. “The experience was incredible. Understanding how the products are made, seeing the care for nature, and having a moment to develop the financial aspect was very important for the women who left abusive relationships, like me, and are seeking new opportunities,” she said.

The visit was conducted in two groups. The first was on Wednesday (23) and the second, and last, on Tuesday (29). For C., from the second group, the visit had a different impact, as she is a brand consultant. “I have always dreamed of knowing this space and that dream came true. I am very grateful to ParáPaz and the Government for this.”

The names of the participants have been abbreviated to ensure the privacy of the women assisted by the ParáPaz Foundation who are in situations of domestic violence.
