Based on the best-seller by John Grogan, "Marley & Me" tells the story of a couple, played by Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, who decide to adopt a Labrador puppy named Marley. With a sensitive and humorous narrative, the film touches the heart by showcasing the strong bond between humans and their pets.

To cover the 14 years of Marley’s life, 22 Labradors played the role of the dog. To train the dogs to fetch objects, trainers used baby food to attract them in scenes where they needed to lick something or someone. The film crew also included a group of trainers to ensure that all recordings took place safely for everyone.
