Cosanpa's hydration point ensures water for visitors of the City Park
With this initiative, the Company helped prevent nearly two thousand plastic bottles from being discarded in the environment

Since its installation, the hydration point of the Pará Sanitation Company (Cosanpa) at the City Park in Belém has been a great ally for those visiting the space, offering free and quality water to all visitors. About two thousand plastic bottles, 500 ml each, have not been consumed on site, contributing to the reduction of plastic in the environment and demonstrating the importance and acceptance of the service by visitors.
The hydration point started operating on June 27, when the City Park was opened to the public. The equipment was strategically installed to meet the needs of those who stroll, practice sports, or engage in outdoor activities. With this, Cosanpa reinforces its commitment to promoting health, well-being, and sustainability.

The freelancer Suzane Vulcão took the opportunity to bring her 9-year-old daughter to the space. She filled the little bottle she brought in her bag to stay hydrated and lessen the effects of the intense heat. "We came to stroll, have a moment of leisure, enjoy here. I thought it was ideal to have the hydration machine. The weather is very hot, and it was a very good strategy, especially for the people. I think it's very important to have cold water here; it quenches thirst better," said the freelancer.
About the Park, Rafael Ferreira, 9 years old, assured that he really enjoyed the outing. "I want to come back all the time! I already played, took a bath, ate a chocolate, and the water was great, very cold," Rafael said.

Support for pets - In addition to providing cold water to the public, Cosanpa's hydration point also offers water for animals, ensuring that the whole family can enjoy the space safely and comfortably.
"Our commitment is to provide quality water, in an accessible way, to all visitors of the City Park. We also have two other service units for the population, at Utinga Park and Porto Futuro. In this way, we promote more health for the community and contribute to the reduction of plastic use in the environment," highlighted Cosanpa's president, José Fernando de Mendonça Júnior.
