Leak removal reinforces Cosanpa's commitment to supply and quality of life

Daily, teams from the Pará Sanitation Company (Cosanpa) carry out leak removal services. Although it is a routine technical job, the quick and efficient action of the professionals has a direct impact on improving supply and the quality of life of users.
The identification and correction of leaks in the distribution network requires dedication, technique, and agility. The service includes excavation, replacement of damaged pipes, pressure testing, and pavement restoration. This entire process is closely monitored by the field teams of the Company.

A recent example occurred at the intersection of Elinaldo Barbosa and Curuá-Una avenues, in the Livramento neighborhood, municipality of Santarém, in western Pará. Residents in the area faced problems with low water pressure, which were resolved with the completion of the service.
Bricklayer Fernando Silva, a resident of the neighborhood, reported relief after the intervention. “We need water all the time, and in recent days it was a bit difficult. Now it has improved a lot. For someone who works in construction like me, this makes all the difference,” said Fernando.

According to Carlos Pedroso, the Water Coordinator of Cosanpa in Santarém, leak removal is part of the Company's operational routine, but it is essential to keep the systems fully operational. “These are actions that happen every day and often go unnoticed. But each repair made quickly ensures that water reaches people's homes with quality and consistency. That is our focus,” he emphasized.
