The Pará Hemotherapy and Hematology Center Foundation (Hemopa) promoted internal and external blood donation campaigns in units of the Metropolitan Region of Belém and municipalities in the interior. Last Saturday (26), 329 bags of blood were collected, with the potential to save up to 1,316 lives throughout the State.

The actions were carried out at fixed points and through external campaigns in the municipalities of Brasil Novo, in the west, and Curionópolis, in the southeast. The collections are part of Hemopa's strategy to decentralize and expand access to voluntary blood donation.
