Secretary of Finance of Pará (Sefa) seizes metal structures and tires in Dom Eliseu
Cargo valued at R$ 943 thousand, left Ituporanga/SC heading to Paragominas

State revenue inspectors from the Secretary of Finance of Pará (Sefa), assigned to the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit in Itinga, in Dom Eliseu, southeastern Pará, seized metal structures for the construction of an industrial shed. The seizure occurred on Wednesday (16), and the cargo valued at R$ 943,384.32, left Ituporanga/SC, heading to Paragominas/PA.
“The goods were covered by a shipping fiscal document for use in civil construction, issued by a company that simultaneously manufactured the materials and was contracted to execute the industrial shed in Pará. However, according to the ICMS Regulation of Pará, the non-incidence of ICMS does not apply when the materials are of the provider's own manufacture and produced outside the construction site,” explained the coordinator of the tax unit, Rafael Brasil.
A Term of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) was drawn up in the amount of R$ 181,129.79, referring to the tax and the fine for the infraction.

Tapajós - During an inspection carried out in the city of Santarém, by state revenue inspectors from the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Tapajós, in Baixo Amazonas, on Thursday (17), goods valued at R$ 82,160.00 were seized from a vessel coming from the state of Amapá (AP) heading to Santarém (PA).
“The team located the following goods on board: 10 tires size 19; 400 boxes of margarine and 50 boxes of sweets. The goods did not have the fiscal documentation required by law,” reported the coordinator of the unit, Roberto Mota.
Terms of Seizure and Deposit (TADs) were drawn up in the amount of R$ 24,678.72.
