Civil Police of Pará arrests fugitive from Pará in Maranhão
There was an arrest warrant against him due to his involvement in criminal activities related to drug trafficking and organized crime

The Civil Police of Pará arrested, this Friday (11), a fugitive member of a criminal faction in the municipality of Santa Luzia do Paruá, in Maranhão. The suspect held the position of "tower" in the Val-de-Cans neighborhood in Belém.
The arrest was carried out by teams from the Delegation for the Repression of Criminal Factions (DRFC), linked to the Division for the Repression of Organized Crime (DRCO), in conjunction with the State Narcotics Division (Denarc).
There was an arrest warrant issued against him by the Criminal Execution Court of the Metropolitan Region of Belém due to his involvement in criminal activities related to drug trafficking and organized crime. During the operation, cell phones were seized from the fugitive.
“The suspect had been evading the Pará prison system since January 2021 and was hiding in the interior of Maranhão, from where he continued to issue criminal orders and negotiate drugs and weapons destined for Pará,” explains delegate Davi Cordeiro, director of Denarc.
The Civil Police of Pará emphasizes that the operation is part of a set of strategic actions aimed at confronting criminal factions and drug and arms trafficking, through the joint action of specialized units and cooperation between states.
