Semas releases weather forecast for the second weekend of July
Belém starts Saturday (12) with a partly cloudy sky and stable weather in the morning, but rain is expected in isolated areas by late afternoon and evening.

For the second weekend of July (12 and 13), the State Department of Environment, Climate and Sustainability (Semas) forecasts unstable weather in various regions of Pará. The thermodynamic conditions of the atmosphere favor the formation of instability areas, especially between late afternoon and early evening in the northern regions of Pará. In the central-southern Pará, the highlight will be the intense heat and low air humidity, which requires attention to health, especially for children and the elderly.
Metropolitan Region of Belém - in the capital of Pará, Saturday (12) starts with a partly cloudy sky and stable weather in the morning, but isolated rain showers are expected between late afternoon and early evening. Temperatures range from 23 °C to 31 °C, with relative humidity between 60% and 100%, and light winds from the East/Northeast. On Sunday (13), the weather remains stable during the morning. However, light and isolated rains are expected in the evening. Temperatures fluctuate between 22 °C and 32 °C, with humidity between 50% and 100%.

Northeast - municipalities such as Bragança and São João de Pirabas are expected to register isolated rain and a partly cloudy sky throughout Saturday. On Sunday, there is a possibility of heavy rain showers at the end of the day. Temperatures will range from 23 °C to 30 °C, with humidity potentially reaching 100%. Winds will be weak, predominantly from the northeast.
Southeast Pará - In São Geraldo do Araguaia and Canaã dos Carajás, the weather remains stable throughout the weekend. The sky will be partly cloudy, with no rain forecast. Temperatures will rise, with highs reaching 36 °C on Saturday. Relative humidity may drop to 25%, especially during the afternoon, with light winds from the East/Southeast.
Southwest Pará - the weather remains stable and dry in municipalities such as Trairão and Novo Progresso. There is no rain forecast for Saturday or Sunday. Thermometers are expected to register between 18 °C and 35 °C, and air humidity varies from 20% to 90%, requiring extra attention to hydration and prolonged sun exposure.

Lower Amazon and North Channel - the forecast is for rain showers in localized areas between the early morning and the beginning of the evening on Saturday in cities like Almeirim. Sunday will be cloudy, with localized rain in the late afternoon in Oriximiná. Temperatures range from 22 °C to 33 °C, and relative humidity may reach 100%, with light winds from the North/Northeast.
Marajó - municipalities such as Santa Cruz do Arari and Breves are expected to register isolated rain showers during the early morning and between late afternoon and evening on both days. The sky will remain partly cloudy and cloudy. Temperatures will range from 22 °C to 32 °C, with high humidity and weak winds predominantly from the northeast.
Tides – the tide forecast for those wishing to enjoy the beaches on Saturday (12) indicates high tide at 8:14 AM, with 4.77 m, in Salinópolis. On Sunday (13), the high tide will occur at 8:57 AM, with 4.82 m. On Mosqueiro Island, on Saturday, the tide may reach 3.49 m at 11:19 AM. On Sunday, at 12:01 PM, the tide may reach 3.52 m.
Semas emphasizes that unstable weather may impact outdoor activities and recommends extra attention to sudden weather changes, as well as health care and hydration in regions with intense heat and low humidity.
