PCPA seizes 40 kilograms of drugs during Operation 'Seventh Seal' in Parauapebas
In the early morning, during the operation's launch, the police team executed three preventive arrest warrants and home search and seizure warrants.

Approximately 40 kilograms of cocaine, crack, and marijuana were seized by the Civil Police at the end of the afternoon this Wednesday (9), in Parauapebas, southeast of the State. The action was carried out as a follow-up to the second phase of Operation “Seventh Seal,” launched by the 16th Regional Superintendence of Carajás and the 20th Urban Section of the municipality.
The location of the drugs occurred after investigations led the police to an abandoned house used as a storage facility by the criminal organization under investigation.
Part of the drugs was stored inside the property, while another part was found buried in plastic barrels on the premises. The location also had a monitoring camera system installed to hinder police actions and control access to the area.

Investigations indicate that the drugs originated from the State of Goiás and were transported to Parauapebas on interstate buses, concealed in toy boxes, balls, and children's bicycles, a strategy used to evade inspections on highways and terminals.
“In the morning, during the operation's launch, we had three arrests. Now, in the late afternoon, we managed to seize this significant quantity of drugs. The action represents another important advance in combating drug trafficking and the activities of criminal factions in the southeastern region of Pará,” emphasized Delegate João Abel, regional superintendent.
Arrests - In the early morning, during the operation's launch, the police team executed three preventive arrest warrants and home search and seizure warrants.
The arrests occurred at three different addresses, in the neighborhoods Parque dos Carajás II, Nova Carajás, and Alto Bonito. At the locations, drugs, weapons, precision scales, and electronic devices were seized. In one of the residences, police found 17 portions of marijuana, one pressed bar of the same substance, bags with cocaine and crack, three precision scales, and a .38 caliber revolver, loaded with five intact rounds.

All seized materials were sent for analysis, and the individuals under investigation remain at the disposal of the Justice.
Investigations are ongoing to identify other members of the criminal group and strengthen the fight against organized crime in the region.
