Mangal das Garças promotes clay workshop to kick off July vacation
Children will receive materials to produce clay, exercising fine motor skills and concentration

With the start of July and the school holidays, the Mangal das Garças Zoobotanical Park in Belém is one of the free attractions for family entertainment. Next Sunday (6), the complex offers a clay production workshop, as part of the Ecoarte children's project, starting at 10 am in the amphitheater.
In order to spark creativity, children will receive materials provided by the monitors to create clay in the workshop. Since it uses malleable material, playing with clay is great for developing fine motor skills and tactile exploration, and it is also an excellent way to stimulate concentration.
“The clay workshop has a special appeal, especially during the holidays and summer. It is an activity that stimulates creativity, engages little ones in a playful way, and creates memories. Last time, the audience was huge. Many children participated and had fun,” said Mayara Cohen, the workshop producer.
The children's projects held at Mangal das Garças are promoted by the Government of Pará, through the State Tourism Secretariat (Setur), in partnership with the Social Organization Pará 2000, which manages the Park, and aim to disseminate environmental education in a playful manner.
