The Government of Pará started at 8 a.m. this Tuesday (01), the first day of the City Park Summer Camp, with lots of fun, exercises, and joy among families, who were delighted with the leisure space. The student and mother Eduarda Gemaque brought her two children and husband to participate in the first day of the Summer Camp, highlighting the moment of joy. “This moment is very enjoyable, especially for the children. The holidays keep many children indoors, in front of the television or cell phone, but this moment is when they can let loose, take a bath, play, run, jump, fall, which is part of childhood, and I am really enjoying it,” she said.

Larissa Manoella, 9 years old, was having fun in the wet area of the Park, and highlighted her holidays in the space as very enjoyable. “My holidays are really cool because we can do sports, play, have fun, take a bath, we get very sweaty, then we take a bath to cool off and go play again,” said the child.

In addition to the children and teenagers who attended Brazil's 1st Public Summer Camp, the elderly also participated in dance, gymnastics, and walking classes. Retiree Socorro Amaral left satisfied with the classes and the space provided by the Government of Pará.

The teacher is great at teaching, I thank the Government of Pará for providing us with such a beautiful space,” said the retiree.

With classes closed for children and teenagers aged 4 to 16 and seniors over 60, there are ten sports modalities taught by Seel teachers.

The programming of the City Park Summer Camp started with classes from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The classes return in the afternoon from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., after this time, the sports courts are available for the general public to use.
