June Festivals Liven Up Usinas da Paz with Special Programs
The special programs gathered a large audience and celebrated the June season at the Usinas da Paz in the capital and in the interior of the State.

The night of Friday (27) was marked by much joy, popular culture, and fun at the Usinas da Paz in Pará, with special programs dedicated to the June festivals. The citizenship complexes of Pará, spread across the capital and also in municipalities in the interior of the state, gathered hundreds of people in celebrations that united tradition, leisure, and culture.
At the Usina da Paz in the Cabanagem neighborhood, in Belém, the community enjoyed a special program that included performances by quadrilhas and folkloric groups, a miss caipira contest, a creative economy fair, as well as games and typical foods.

Tayane Pamplona, 27, took her two children to enjoy the June festival and celebrated the experience with her family. "It was a huge joy to bring my children to this beautiful party. We had so much fun. They played, danced quadrilha, and even won prizes,” she said.
Resident Luciana Souza accompanied her niece during the June festival and praised the program. “I found this program amazing, especially for the children. Everything is very beautiful, organized, and full of options for games. My niece is enchanted with everything. It’s a joy to see this type of event happening here in our neighborhood,” she said.

More celebrations - In the Bengui neighborhood, in Belém, the Usina da Paz Pe. Bruno Sechi was the stage for the lively “Arraial das Todas as Cores,” a party that celebrated not only São João but also respect for diversity and the rights of the LGBTQIAPN+ community, reinforcing the role of Usinas as spaces of inclusion and welcome.
Friday also featured special programs held at the Usinas da Paz in Terra Firme and Jurunas/Condor, also in the capital, Icuí-Guajará, in Ananindeua, as well as in the municipalities of Marituba, Castanhal, and Benevides, in the Metropolitan Region of Belém.

Student Isabelle Raiol, a resident of the municipality of Benevides, celebrated the first arraial of the newly inaugurated Usina da Paz. “Today I came to support the arraial of Usina da Paz with my friends, and it was a very rich cultural experience. It was fun and integrated our society. I thank everyone who made this wonderful moment possible for the community,” she celebrated.
“The June festivals at Usinas da Paz are celebrations that represent the meeting of families with citizenship, respect for diversity, and the appreciation of our traditions. It is very gratifying to see the communities gathered, with safety and access to culture, leisure, and services that make a difference in people's daily lives,” highlighted the Secretary of Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga.
