Cultural programming continues this Saturday (28) at Parque da Cidade
Attractions continue until the end of July with scenic performances, parades, shows, and storytelling
The cultural programming of Parque da Cidade continues this Saturday (28) in Belém, with a gospel show by singer Cláudio Jr. at 6 PM. On Sunday (29), at 5 PM, the Ponto de Cultura Heranças do Velho Chico will perform. This initiative is part of the integrated actions of the Government of Pará during the opening of the Park. The facility opened its doors to the public on Friday (27).
The cultural agenda extends until the end of July, with free activities every Saturday and Sunday, in the late afternoon, at the park's amphitheater. Theater, dance, music, manifestations of popular culture, and attractions aimed at children are scheduled.
Next Saturday, July 5, the audience will watch the ox parade with the Veludinho group from Guamá at 6 PM, followed by the show of the Vingadores do Brega at 7 PM. On Sunday, the 6th, the program includes the scenic performance IN BUST at 5 PM; the presentation of the junino bird Tem-tem, also from Guamá, at 6 PM; and the carimbó by the Sancari group at 7 PM.
On the second weekend, Saturday, July 12, the program starts with a performance by the Banda Pagode Gospel at 5 PM, followed by a dance performance by the Companhia Mauro Santos, aimed at people with disabilities, at 6 PM, and a show by the parafolkloric group Frutos do Pará at 7 PM. On Sunday, the 13th, the agenda features artist Pedro Bolha at 5 PM, the ox parade Marronzinho at 6 PM, and the carimbó by the Coisas de Negro group at 7 PM.
On July 19, Saturday, the program starts earlier, at 4:30 PM, with clowning by the Notáveis Clowns group. Then, at 5:30 PM, theater takes over the stage with the performance Juventude Gospel by the MCAD Belém group. At 6:30 PM, the junino bird Tucano performs in the space, and the closing will be with the group Sabor Marajoara at 7:30 PM, in a show of regional rhythms. On Sunday, the 20th, the audience will enjoy the scenic performance “Amazônia em lendas: a história dos seres e protetores das florestas” at 5 PM; the capoeira circle with Mestre Pantera at 6 PM; and the show by singer LOÊ at 7 PM.
The program concludes on the last weekend of the month. On Saturday, July 26, the scenic performance “Pará pai d’égua” will be presented at 5 PM, followed by the carimbó with the Iaçá group at 6 PM. The Bandinha do Riacho Doce will perform at 7 PM. On Sunday, the 27th, the program features clowning with Cleber Cajun at 5 PM; a boizinho workshop at 6 PM; and a show with the Charme do Choro group at 7 PM.
COP 30 - Starting in August, Parque da Cidade will be transferred by the Government of Pará to the Federal Government, which will begin setting up the pavilions for the Green and Blue Zones of the 30th Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP30), promoted by the United Nations and scheduled for November in Belém.
