The action aims to reinforce the enforcement of arrest warrants and search and seizure of recent crimes that occurred in various regions of the State

The Civil Police of Pará launched, this Friday (27), the operation "Critical Point", which has so far resulted in 100 suspects arrested and two adolescents apprehended, in addition to the seizure of drugs and weapons. All phases of the operation, which occurred simultaneously in more than 30 municipalities in the State, are being coordinated by the Interior Police Directorate (DPI) and the Police Intelligence Center (NIP).
The action was developed with the aim of reinforcing the enforcement of arrest warrants and search and seizure of recent crimes that occurred in various regions of Pará.
"The initial purpose of the PC with the operation 'Critical Point' is, with the support of as many units as possible, to intensify policing actions and combat crime in the State and, thus, expand access to public safety and promote a peaceful environment for communities. The Civil Police of Pará already plans and conducts operations every month of the year, and every 20 days, precisely aiming at the safety of all," explains the general delegate of PCPA, Raimundo Benassuly.

Operational support - Following the launch, operations began in the interior of the State with the aim of combating and dismantling various criminal practices, such as robbery, theft, homicide, extortion, sexual assault of vulnerable individuals, drug trafficking, violation of protective measures, attempted homicide, bodily injury, among other crimes.
"Among the police units participating in the phases of the operation 'Critical Point' are the Police Stations of Mãe do Rio, Cumaru do Norte, Itaituba, Mocajuba, Baião, Rurópolis, Cametá, among others. In addition to the operational support from the Sections that operate in the urban and rural areas of the municipalities in Pará, the operation also counts on the partnership of specialized units," highlights delegate Hennison Jacob, head of the DPI.
"Currently, 100 arrests have been made, two adolescent apprehensions, in addition to the seizure of four firearms and 16.495 kg of drugs," adds the delegate.
The operation involves the Specialized Police Stations for Women (Deam), Children and Adolescents (Deaca), Homicide Police Stations (DH), and the Investigation Support Centers (NAI).

Operations - The operation "Critical Point" reflects the institution's commitment to the integration of security forces and the fight against criminal practices throughout the territory of Pará. Among the operations already carried out by the Civil Police are "Guardian Angel", "State Wall", and "Safe Area", all focused on increasing police presence, promoting arrests, and ensuring public safety in the State.
