With the works in the final phase, five municipalities in the State are preparing to receive from the State Government, through the State Department of Education (Seduc), the new units of the "Daycare Centers Throughout Pará" program. The spaces will benefit more than a thousand families and ensure comfort, safety, and well-being for the development of early childhood education for children aged zero to five years.

Jocácia Mendes is an event announcer and mother of little Aila Mendes. She expressed her happiness and anxiety for the support she will receive in caring for her daughter with the opening of the daycare in the municipality of Marabá.

"We are filled with anxiety and expectation for the delivery of the new daycare, which will help mothers in the municipality. I have already visited the site and saw a beautiful structure; I am curious to know the environment where my daughter will study and learn in a suitable place, specific for her age. It will definitely improve our lives 100% with this support."

Standard modern structure - Marabá, Igarapé-Açu, Melgaço, Curuçá, and Magalhães Barata are the municipalities that will each receive a daycare. The units have quality and standard structure from the State Government, with the capacity to serve 200 children aged 0 to 5 years.

The units have 9 classrooms, a multipurpose room, five bathrooms, a lactation room, a nursery/breastfeeding area, a changing room, a covered court, a sand playground, a garden, an outdoor bath, coordination, a teachers' room, a secretary, and a pantry.

With an investment of approximately R$ 21 million, the daycare centers will benefit more than a thousand families in the five municipalities. The State Government has already delivered 8 daycare centers, and another 110 are currently under construction.

"It is with great emotion that I, as a mother of a future student of the daycare, see the daycare being completed, a work so important for our children. This daycare represents a beautiful future for our children in Magalhães Barata, who will have the opportunity to start their studies in a suitable and safe environment. I thank the governor for the opportunity to offer our children a safe, welcoming, and appropriate space for their development and education, and for his vision of the future," highlighted Janeide Cristina Oliveira Pinheiro, a school lunch worker and mother of Marjorie Lizzie Pinheiro da Costa, three years old.

Unprecedented educational program from the Government of Pará - The "Daycare Centers Throughout Pará" aims to benefit 30,000 families. In particular, mothers in situations of social vulnerability are the main beneficiaries so that they can have opportunities to return to the job market.

In total, 150 daycare centers will be built throughout the Pará territory, and more than R$ 400 million are being invested in the works. In municipalities with a higher population index, two units will be built. In addition to reducing the educational deficit in the State, the program aims to boost and advance the learning process in Early Childhood Education.
