During six and a half hours of celebration, 10,465 people enjoyed the programming of Arraial de Todos os Santos, at the headquarters of the Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP), on Saturday (21). So far, this is the largest audience recorded in a single day of this edition of the event. The programming continues until June 29 (Sunday), featuring music, dance, theater, sales of typical foods, handicrafts, and the competition for the title of champion of the XXI State Quadrilha Contest, at the Centur building, headquarters of the FCP. Admission is free.

Since June 13, when the programming started, 58,204 people have already had fun at the Arraial. This number corresponds to a daily average of 6,467 people, and is close to the average recorded during the 18 days of the festival in 2024. The expectation is that the total audience will surpass that of the previous year - 127,679 people.

“The Arraial de Todos os Santos is a traditional event of our State, and it only grows every year. This moment is part of our culture, of our tradition. It is, above all, a maintenance of the Pará identity. The new is important, but tradition must be maintained and strengthened. That is what makes us Pará people, and makes us proud of our land,” highlighted the president of the Cultural Foundation of Pará, Thiago Miranda.

The traditional Mascarados and Cabeçudos from São Caetano de Odivelas entertained the audience

Fun with safety - Even with a significant number of people circulating through the Centur squares, no accidents were reported. For this, only in the Department of Order and Security, 57 people work every night, including security guards, civil firefighters, and professionals from the State Department of Public Health (Sespa).

Anna Liz, Benício, and Ana Sophia enjoyed the Arraial for the first time

The integrated work results in a festive and safe environment for families to have fun, said business administrator Nayra Velasco Viot, who enjoyed the festival with her children, Anna Liz, 2 years old, Benício, 7 years old, and Ana Sophia, 5 years old. “I have always liked the Arraial, but I had never participated with the kids. I was worried because of the number of people, but the environment positively surprised me. I loved it, and I would come back every day. It’s a wonderful program, especially for those with children,” she added.

The programming of Arraial de Todos os Santos is daily. From 6 PM, it is already possible to enjoy the sale of typical foods and the creative economy fair. The artistic performances start at 7 PM.

Attractions - This Sunday (22), there will be performances by the June birds “Pavão” and “Rouxinol”, the masked bull “Touro Bandido”, the carimbó group “Pica-Pau”, the toada group “Kawahiva”, and the parafolkloric “Sabor Marajoara”.

In addition to the shows, the State Quadrilha Contest reaches its tenth day with the evolution of the children’s quadrilhas “Tradição Junina de Soure”, “Flor Junina Mirim” (from Belém), and “Raízes da Simpatia” (from Colares, a municipality in northeastern Pará).
