Mangal das Garças, Estação das Docas, and Parque do Utinga are leisure options for the holiday on June 19

On this Thursday (19), the national holiday of Corpus Christi is celebrated. For those who will remain in Belém during the extended holiday, the spaces managed by the Social Organization Pará 2000 - Estação das Docas, Mangal das Garças, and Parque Estadual do Utinga - offer a diverse program for all ages.

Estação das Docas

With music, culture, and gastronomy, Estação das Docas will host the traditional Estação Junina, which will take place from June 20 to 22 and June 28 to 30. The event features attractions such as Fruto Sensual, Balada Mix, Forró Nu12, DJ Assayag, Boi Catiguria, Boi Veludinho, Vingadores do Brega, Pássaro Junino Japim, and quadrilhas like Fuzuê Junino.

For the children's audience, the space also includes Estação Curumim, located on the mezzanine of Warehouse 1, with toys and recreational activities (paid access). Additionally, the program includes performances by children's quadrilhas, such as Flor Junina, Santa Luíza Mirim, and Pipoquinha, ensuring fun for the whole family.

Parque Estadual do Utinga

Those who prefer contact with nature can enjoy Parque Estadual do Utinga, which operates from Wednesday to Sunday, from 6 AM to 6 PM, with free entry. Among the attractions are bike rentals, zip lines, tubing, and ecological trails, as well as kiosks with food options.

During the holiday, from June 19 to 22, the space will also host the Biodiversity Fair, which brings together stands of handicrafts and products from family agriculture, strengthening the local economy and promoting Amazonian culture.

Parque Zoobotânico Mangal das Garças

Another option to enjoy the holiday is Mangal das Garças, with its extensive green area and Amazonian biodiversity. The location operates from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8 AM to 6 PM, and offers attractions such as the Navigation Memorial, the Belém Lighthouse, and the José Márcio Ayres Reserve (butterfly house). Tickets can be purchased at the box office.

On Sunday (22), Mangal will have a special program for children with Ecoarte, a project that promotes workshops and educational games. In this edition, the Animation Club brings June activities and a workshop for making little bulls, reviving cultural traditions of the region. The event starts at 10 AM and participation is free.

The park operates from Wednesday to Monday, from 6 AM to 5 PM, and is closed on Tuesdays for maintenance.
