Cidadania Station in Itaituba celebrates two years with around 55 thousand services
Unit brings together in one space the issuance of ID; consultation of Income Tax refund; unemployment insurance benefits; among other services

This Sunday (15), the Cidadania Station in Itaituba, in southwestern Pará, celebrates two years of operation with approximately 55 thousand services. The unit ensures greater agility in services, as well as more comfort and convenience for the population of the Tapajós Integration Region. The Cidadania Station represents an important step in the decentralization of public services, bringing state administration closer to local communities and facilitating access to public services.
The Cidadania Station in Itaituba serves about 200 thousand residents of the municipalities of Itaituba, Novo Progresso, Jacareacanga, Trairão, Rurópolis, and Placas, as well as the districts of Moraes de Almeida and Castelo de Sonhos, which belong to the municipality of Altamira.

"With two years of operation, the Cidadania Station in Itaituba has already carried out almost 55 thousand services. This number reflects the positive impact that the integration of public services can have on people's lives. The proposal to gather essential services in one space has facilitated access for the population and has proven to be an efficient inclusion strategy. This result encourages us to continue expanding the project to other regions of Pará. Our commitment is to continue advancing with public policies that improve the daily lives of citizens and contribute to a fairer, more efficient Pará with a better quality of life for all," said Gabriela Duarte, Director of Management Development at Seplad.
Since the beginning of its operation, the Cidadania Station in Itaituba has been a reference point for the community. Until May of this year, more than 10 thousand services had been provided, in partnership with public administration bodies such as the Civil Police (PC), the State Department of Social Assistance, Labor, Employment, and Income of Pará (SEASTER), the Commercial Registry of Pará (Jucepa), the Regional Superintendence of Labor and Employment of the State of Pará (SRTb), and Sebrae Pará.

“Through the Cidadania Station in Itaituba, I was able to access services and with agility and efficiency, I was able to obtain the second copy of my ID. Therefore, the Station is extremely important because whenever we need services, they are always available, in addition to being a space for the community, always offering services and activities that promote well-being for the population,” highlighted the self-employed worker, Lohane Lima.
The services offered include ID issuance; consultation of Income Tax refund; reception of processes; unemployment insurance; a kiosk for CPF consultation; procedural consultation; and an entrepreneur's room. This integration allows citizens to resolve various pending issues in one place, saving time and resources.

Erika da Silva, a resident of Itaituba and a professional in the general services area, shared her experience at the Cidadania Station. “I was very surprised with the results and the services offered here, I was well attended, quickly and very efficiently, and I was able to solve a problem that was worrying me regarding the Salary Bonus at the Ministry of Labor,” said the resident.
Pará has 11 Cidadania Stations, of which five are located in the Metropolitan Region of Belém, with the one located in the Guamá neighborhood undergoing renovations; one in Santarém; one in Marabá; one in Parauapebas; one in Tucuruí; and one in Itaituba.
For the self-employed Evaína Leal de Araújo, a resident of the Monte Cristo community, “The Station has benefited us a lot, because for me and for many people here, who live and work in the fields, we never imagined that one day we could have access to these services, and today I was able to obtain my ID and regularize my work card more quickly,” expressed Evaína.
