Ten June dance groups will perform this Saturday (14) for the State June Contest

Admission is free and the performances start at 6 PM at the headquarters of the Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP), in the Centur building, in the Nazaré neighborhood.

Ten June dance groups will perform this Saturday, 14, on the second day of the State Dance Contest. The performances start at 6 PM at the headquarters of the Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP), on Gentil Bitencourt Avenue, in Belém. Admission is free.

The festival begins with the performance of the children’s dance group “Roceira Maluquinha” from the municipality of Bujaru. Following them, the groups “Santa Luzia Mirim” and “Revelação Junina Mirim” from the cities of Belém and Abaetetuba, respectively, will compete.

Seven adult June dance groups will perform this Saturday. Four of them represent the Metropolitan Region of Belém: “Explosão da Juventude” (Ananindeua); “Majestosa” (Belém); “Tradição Junina do Benguí” (Belém) and “Pipocando Junino” (Belém).

Also performing on the second day of the contest are the groups “Amor de Romeiro” (Soure); “Nova Geração da Castanheira” (Breves); and “Explosão de Cheiro” (Parauapebas).

June Folklore - In addition to the State Dance Contest, the program at the headquarters of the Cultural Foundation of Pará includes the presentation of June folklore: Boi-Bumbá; Boi de Máscaras; Parafolclóricos; Birds and Cordões; Carimbó and Toadas.

The shows take place in the artist's square and at the Margarida Schivasappa theater. At the theater, the Bragantino Bird and the Tem-Tem Bird from Curuçá will perform. On the Verequete stage, in the artist's square, there will be Boi de Máscara Faceiro, the Carimbó Group Os Aruãs, and Parafolclórico Uirapuru. The program starts at 7 PM and admission is free.
