To ensure a peaceful and safe leisure time at the largest São João in the Amazon, Parárraiá 2025, the State Public Security System in partnership with federal and municipal agencies has already initiated actions that bring together more than 5,700 public security agents distributed over the four days of the event, operating around and in the parking lot of Mangueirão, in order to prevent and curb crimes, and also ensure the tranquility of all.

Monitoring - Ensuring real-time monitoring of the images from the security cameras installed in the parking lot of Mangueirão and its surroundings, the Integrated Command and Control Mobile Center (CICCM) was activated before the gates opened, gathering focal points from the security forces. On-site, they also monitor the actions being carried out by each agency and ensure promptness in recording occurrences, if necessary.

The monitoring of images is also being conducted at the Operational Command and Control Center (CCCO) located inside the stadium, enhancing oversight and information exchange among security agents.

Next to the CICCM, the Women's Service Totem is also activated, to facilitate the assistance of women victims of violence directly by the Virtual Deam, ensuring the necessary guidance, and also the request for protective measures.

Reinforcement in policing - Patrolling on access roads and at the venue began before the gates opened and continues to be reinforced by the Military Police, which has teams on standby ensuring public order and the maintenance of social peace.

The security agencies are committed to ensuring a safe celebration for everyone attending the four days of Parárraiá, highlights the acting Secretary of Public Security, Col. PM Sérgio Neves.

“The event was planned in advance, having a security scheme designed for large-scale events, bringing together nearly six thousand integrated public security agents, so that we can guarantee, within our responsibilities, a safe and peaceful leisure time for everyone who comes here to have fun. We have been operating since early afternoon with patrols around Mangueirão, reinforcing not only the safety of those coming to the event but also those who live in this area. We are monitoring the images from the cameras in real-time, with teams on standby for incident response, if necessary, and a whole specialized team working on the prevention of crimes against vulnerable individuals. Therefore, it is a strong security scheme so that the people of Pará can enjoy this first night and all the other days safely and peacefully,” he stated.

IMEIGuard - Security agents are also using IMEIGuard, a tool exclusively for police use to expedite the inquiry about the status of a mobile device during police actions and patrols, thus enhancing preventive actions and curbing the practice of theft and robbery of mobile devices. Through the application, it is possible to identify whether the mobile device has any theft or robbery restrictions, if it is in the recovery process, if it has been lost, and other information that is updated as soon as there is a new event in the case.

To facilitate the inquiry about the status of a device, it is important for the person to register the IMEI of the mobile device on the Alerta Celular Pará website, so that with the registration completed, in case their device is stolen or robbed, the public security system can identify the data during police actions.

Beto Mix, resident of Vigia

“Last year I was here and saw the police helping to register the mobile device on a website and today I remembered to come and do mine, because I think it is very important because we come to a grand event and know that there are opportunists who may try to steal the mobile device, documents. And so we will be careful, but we are taking precautions, installing a program so that the police can help us if needed. I also saw in the newspaper that there are almost 6,000 police officers at the event and this gives us a greater sense of security to enjoy all the days at the event,” said Beto Mix, a resident of Vigia de Nazaré, who is attending the event for the second year.

The security actions will continue in the coming days until the end of the event, to ensure the tranquility and safe leisure of all Pará residents.
