State prepares to deliver the 14th Usina da Paz in Pará, in Capanema
The complex will be a reference for serving more than 70,000 residents of the city, with over 70 services and assistance available

The residents of Capanema, in northeastern Pará, are eagerly awaiting the delivery of the first Usina da Paz (UsiPaz) in the municipality and throughout the Caeté region. The 14th unit of Brazil's largest citizenship project will be inaugurated next Saturday (14), providing the population with a complete structure of free services in the areas of education, culture, sports, social assistance, health, professional training, and citizenship.
The new complex will be a reference for serving more than 70,000 residents of the city, offering over 70 integrated services and assistance to strengthen social inclusion and promote quality of life.

For resident Nazareno Queiroz, who lives in the Jardim América neighborhood where the complex was installed, the arrival of UsiPaz is a true gift. “Here in Capanema, there are many people who cannot afford private services. So, the Usina will benefit us a lot. It came as a gift, and I will certainly be here on Saturday for the inauguration,” he stated.

Student Gisele Reis, who also lives in the region, is already planning to take advantage of the opportunities. “I want to enroll in the computer course, as it will help me a lot in my life. I have already told my friends, who are also excited, waiting for the ballet classes to open for their children. I believe that the Usina will open doors for many people who cannot afford a course,” she shared.

Complete structure - Located in the Jardim América Residential area, the UsiPaz in Capanema will feature a spacious and modern structure, equipped with rooms for medical and dental care, document issuance, vocational courses, social assistance, as well as sports and cultural spaces, such as a multipurpose gym, swimming pool, open court, and multicultural square.
“The delivery of the Usina da Paz in Capanema represents more than a completed project. It represents the commitment of the Government of Pará to inclusion, dignity, and social transformation. We are very happy to see this structure ready to serve the people of Capanema and the region,” emphasized the State Secretary of Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga.

The Capanema unit joins the other 13 Usinas da Paz already in operation in the neighborhoods of Jurunas/Condor, Guamá, Terra Firme, Bengui, and Cabanagem in Belém; Ananindeua, Marituba, Benevides, and Castanhal in the Metropolitan Region; Abaetetuba in Baixo Tocantins; and Marabá, Parauapebas, and Canaã dos Carajás in southeastern Pará.
Only in 2025, the Government of Pará has already inaugurated the units in Benevides, Castanhal, Marabá, and Abaetetuba, directly benefiting more than 684,000 people in the four cities.
