With the support of the Government of Pará and Seel, Belém hosts the CAIXA Urban Cross stage in July at Mangueirão
The circuit will travel across Brazil with seven stages throughout the season. The idea of the event is to not use public roads but rather Brazilian stadiums.
With the support of the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure (Seel), the city of Belém will host the CAIXA Urban Cross on July 12. Known as the stadium race, the circuit is scheduled to start at 7 PM at the Mangueirão Stadium, for a 6km race, in the second stage of the 2025 edition.
The Olympic Stadium of Pará was built in the 1970s and restructured in 2023, transformed into one of the main multi-purpose arenas in the northern region of the country, which will now host the 2025 edition of the CAIXA Urban Cross street racing circuit.

The head of Seel, Cássio Andrade, emphasizes the work of the Government of Pará, through the secretariat, to bring major sporting events to the State of Pará. “Another great sporting event that we are bringing to the capital of Pará. For the first time, we will have the CAIXA Urban Cross Street Race at Mangueirão. Mangueirão has become a multi-purpose arena, and we at the Government are happy to provide athletes and the entire population of Pará with these great events that generate income, joy, and promote sports as a whole,” he declared.
The CAIXA Urban Cross racing circuit will travel across Brazil with seven stages throughout the season. Launched in 2014, the year of the World Cup in the country, it came to promote the idea of multi-use arenas. Since then, there have been 26 stages in the largest football stadiums in Brazil. The idea of the event is to not use public roads, in a concept racing circuit.
"A circuit that stands out among participants who, in addition to the race itself, can bring family and friends to enjoy the event and take advantage of all its structure, such as food options, with food trucks and the stadium's snack bars open,” highlights organizer Freddy Carvalho.

Registrations - Registrations for the CAIXA Urban Cross Circuit are open on the event's Instagram page, @crossurbanocaixa, and on the website www.crossurbanocaixa.esp.br, with an initial value of R$ 90.00. The Cross Kit includes a dry fit shirt, LED headlamp, bag, and 3-in-1 pouch (for phone, water bottle, and keys).
The CAIXA Urban Cross is organized by Corpore Sano, sponsored by CAIXA and the Federal Government. The Belém stage is supported by the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure - Government of Pará.
