The events are held at Praça do Povo, Praça do Artista, Teatro Margarida Schivasappa, and Casa da Linguagem, featuring performances of folguedos and quadrilhas juninas

Between petticoats and straw hats, the Cultural Foundation of the State of Pará (FCP) brings, from June 13 to 29, the sparkle of Saint John in the program of Arraial de Todos os Santos, filled with culture and entertainment. The events, held at Praça do Povo, Praça do Artista, Teatro Margarida Schivasappa, are open to the public.
Starting this Friday, 13th, the FCP begins the XXI Quadrilhas Juninas Contest, with presentations of an average of eight quadrilhas per day, in the adult (116 groups) and mirim (16 groups) categories, as well as the selection of Misses Simpatia, Negritude, Caipira, and Diversity. The competition runs until June 27, at Praça do Povo, which this year is named Arena Dona Graça, in honor of the leader of the group “Rainha da Juventude,” who transmitted the June culture for generations in her family until her passing in 2020.

At the Verequete Stage, located at Praça do Artista, groups of June folguedos make the party even more beautiful, with four attractions per day. In this space, parafolkloric groups, masked oxen, and bumbás, toadas, and carimbó enrich the celebration, bringing the diversity of popular culture from all integration regions of the state. More than 50 collectives will perform between June 13 and 28. At 9:30 PM, to liven up the musical scene, there will be a performance by the band Fole Brasil bringing forró to the celebration.
Teatro Margarida Schivasappa transforms into a stage for great shows, with performances by Pássaros Juninos and Cordões. On June 13 to 15, 20 to 22, and 27 to 29, 18 groups will pass through the theater, enchanting the audience with the beauty of this cultural manifestation.
