Detran recovers motorcycle with theft record during Junina Operation in Novo Progresso
Action took place during a routine approach with the support of the Military Police

During the "Festas Juninas" operation, carried out by the State Traffic Department (Detran), the inspection team recovered a motorcycle with a theft record in the municipality of Novo Progresso, in the southwest of Pará. The action took place on Tuesday (10), during a routine approach in the urban perimeter of the city.
The vehicle was stopped after the agents noticed that the license plate was damaged, which prevented its complete identification. After verification by the chassis number, the team found that the motorcycle had a theft record dated September 15, 2010, in the municipality of Santarém.

In light of the finding, the driver was taken to the Civil Police station, along with the vehicle, for the necessary legal procedures. The inspection team was composed of agents Antônio Dima Lima, who led the operation, Elisângela, and Arimateia, with support from the Military Police.
"The inspection work aims, in addition to ensuring road safety, to combat the circulation of irregular vehicles and recover stolen goods, as in this case. The joint action with the Military Police is essential for the success of these operations," highlighted Antônio.
Detran emphasizes that actions like this will continue in different regions of the state, especially during the festive period, when the flow of vehicles and motorcycles increases in urban and rural areas.
