Bragança, in northeastern Pará, was the scene of one of the largest recent actions aimed at land regularization in Pará, on Thursday (5). In a ceremony marked by emotion and symbolism, Vice Governor Hana Ghassan officially delivered 426 land titles to 44 rural communities in the municipality, ensuring legal security and expanding development horizons for hundreds of families.
The institutional agenda reinforces the State Government's commitment to strengthening rural citizenship, promoting social inclusion through the legalization of land ownership, a fundamental condition for access to credit, public policies, and income generation in the countryside.
“More than 400 titles delivered, another step forward towards regularization, towards promoting the activity, which is very important for our State, production. We are a State that has a vocation for production, and we are doing the regularization so that people have legal security and access to credit. This is prosperity! So, I am happy to be here in Bragança, at this moment of advancement of public policies,” said Vice Governor Hana Ghassan.
The action is part of a process initiated in 2019 and, by May 2025, has already delivered 1,485 titles in the municipality. With the new documents issued, the total now reaches 1,911 regularized titles in Bragança.
“Interpa is once again here in Bragança doing a very strong, very respectful job with the delivery of your land title, which you have been waiting for 30, 40 years for this opportunity, thanks to the partnership of Mayor Mário Júnior with our Vice Governor Hana Ghassan this is becoming possible. Now, in fact, you are protected with your property. And it started, many times with your father and your grandfather,” said the president of Iterpa Bruno Kono.
Among the communities contemplated in this new phase are Alto Alegre, Bacuri Prata, Cajueiro, Conceição, Jutai, Nova Canindé, Ramal do Lontra, Vila Jari, as well as areas located along the PA-112 and BR-308 highways. The initiative addresses both productive areas and traditional settlements, promoting sustainable rural development and agrarian justice.
The farmer Maria do Socorro Nunes de Sousa celebrated the realization of her dream of having her land title. “I am happy and glad that it has come to this point of receiving, getting this document that I wanted for a long time. It had not worked out before, and now, thank God, it worked out, and I feel very happy, really happy to have my little corner all legalized. No one can take me out of my house anymore. No one can take me away,” she said.

More public policies in the countryside In addition to land regularization, the State Government brought a series of socially impactful policies to Bragança. Among them, the delivery of 500 free driver's licenses through the CNH Pai D'égua program, which guarantees access to a driver's license for residents of Pará municipalities, an important tool to expand job opportunities and mobility.
On the same agenda, the Vice Governor participated in the delivery of a new Family Health Unit, ambulances, and a mobile ICU from the city hall, in addition to participating in the celebrations of the traditional Caeté Festival.
“It was not just the delivery of titles; we also delivered free national driver's licenses to the population, almost 500 licenses, we will accompany the mayor in the delivery of a family health unit, which is very important, ambulance, ICU, in addition to the beautiful party that is being held here, which is the Caeté Festival, and it is also important for the economy, for promotion, for job generation and for tourism. We know that tourism will be one of the biggest job generators in the next decade. And Pará and Bragança have everything to be on this tourist route,” concluded the Vice Governor of Pará.
