Sespa holds the III Home Care Meeting in the Caetés region

The State Department of Public Health of Pará (Sespa), through the 4th Regional Health Center, promotes the III Home Care Meeting of the Caetés Region on May 28, 29, and 30 in Bragança, in northeastern Pará. The event brings the theme "Enhancing the Home Care Network in Caeté" and aims to qualify and strengthen the intra and intersectoral network in the comprehensiveness of care in Home Care (AD).

The extensive program includes presentations in thematic tables, space for interactive debates among participants; mini-courses and presentations of successful experiences and E-posters in AD, at its levels of complexity and management.

"This meeting aims to equip teams with information on new technologies, management tools, monitoring of their actions, and achievement of the established indicators for SAD; fostering the development of increasingly qualified, effective, and resolutive intervention strategies, thus providing better service to public health users," said Luiza Helena Progênio de Santana, a member of the organizing committee and Reference Technical for Home Care in the Rio Caetés Region.

The Caetés Region currently has five qualified Home Care Service (SAD) teams, each with a Multiprofessional Home Care Team (EMAD) and a Multiprofessional Support Team (EMAP).

The event is a strategy for ongoing education, regularly promoted, and this year is being held in partnership with the municipal government of Bragança and the Health Department of Bragança, in addition to the Technical Division of the 4th CRS/Sespa, and the State Coordinations of the "Elderly Health Program" and the "Better at Home Home Care Program."
