HRPL reinforces commitment to public health and surpasses 109 thousand services in 2025
A reference in medium and high complexity care, providing services to patients from 23 municipalities, the unit has over 98% user satisfaction level
The Regional Public Hospital of the East (HRPL), located in Paragominas, continues to be a reference in medium and high complexity care, providing services to patients from 23 municipalities in the region. Between January and April of this year, the unit recorded over 109 thousand services and achieved a satisfaction rate of 98.56% among users.
In the first four months of 2025, HRPL registered 109,544 services and procedures, among which stand out: 1,214 hospitalizations; 21,100 outpatient services; 1,608 surgeries performed; 71,467 general exams; 274 blood transfusions; 918 speech therapy sessions; 6,191 physiotherapy services; 879 occupational therapy sessions; 991 psychology sessions; and 4,902 services in Social Work.

User Approval - “I was very well received and welcomed with great attention by the professionals. Everyone is extremely attentive, a thousand points!”, praised Regina Pereira dos Santos, 53, after undergoing a surgical procedure at the unit. The testimony reflects the high degree of satisfaction of users with the service provided by the hospital.
For the general director of HRPL, André Bordallo, the numbers reflect the dedication of the team. "The hospital's performance, evidenced by over 109 thousand services in the first quadrimester of 2025 and the approval rate close to 99%, represents the materialization of the commitment and excellence of our entire multidisciplinary team. It is a joint and tireless effort, in which each professional acts in an integrated manner, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and effective care environment."
The manager also highlighted the importance of the partnership with the State Department of Public Health (SESPA), which has been essential not only in enabling resources but also in strengthening actions aimed at quality, safety, and humanization of care.
"This collaboration allows us to go beyond the act of providing care: it enables us to excellently care for the population of the 23 municipalities under our responsibility, bringing high complexity and humanized assistance closer to those who really need it," Bordallo concluded.
Specialties and Humanized Care
HRPL offers a wide range of medical specialties, among which Neurology, Traumatology, General Surgery, Cardiology, Urology, and Gynecology stand out. The unit is also a reference in the care of stroke cases, with a specialized team and structure, in addition to having trained professionals for assistance to indigenous communities, promoting inclusive and quality care.
With 70 available beds, the hospital also stands out for its oncology care, being qualified to perform oncological surgeries, which significantly contributes to the decentralization of oncological treatments in the state.
In 2024, HRPL performed 583 medical consultations aimed at oncological surgery and 243 surgical procedures in this specialty. In 2025, between January and April, 173 consultations and 69 oncological surgeries have already been recorded, consolidating the unit as a regional reference in cancer treatment.

Certified Quality - The excellence of the services provided by HRPL is recognized through the Full Accreditation – Level II certification, granted by the Qualisa Institute of Management (IQG). The unit achieved 80% of the standards required in quality and patient safety and 70% of the integrated management criteria established by the National Accreditation Organization (ONA).
These results reaffirm the hospital's commitment to safety, efficiency, and humanization in serving the population of Pará, strengthening its position as one of the main health centers in the region.
Data - In 2024, the hospital recorded over 177 thousand services, offering everything from hospitalizations, outpatient consultations, surgeries, and general exams, in addition to interventions in areas such as speech therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, occupational therapy, and social assistance.
