Children's clay workshop takes place at Mangal das Garças Park this Sunday, June 1st
In addition to the special program, the Park maintains other activities daily
The Mangal das Garças Zoobotanical Park is the perfect place for those looking to enjoy the weekend with children. This Sunday, June 1st, the complex will hold the Ecoarte children's project, featuring a clay production workshop. The event is free and starts at 10 AM in the amphitheater.
It’s time for the little ones to unleash their creativity in a fun and educational workshop. With the materials provided by the monitors, children will have the opportunity to participate in a children's clay workshop, where they will create their own dough and produce unique creations.
“Sensory activities positively impact the development of motor coordination and stimulate the five senses, in addition to sharpening children's creativity. Programs designed specifically for this audience are extremely important to ensure access to leisure, culture, and fun,” says Fernanda Scaramuzzini, Marketing, Communication, and Culture Coordinator of OS Pará 200, the organization that manages Mangal das Garças.
The children's projects held at Mangal das Garças are promoted by the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Tourism (Setur), in partnership with the Social Organization Pará 2000, and aim to disseminate environmental education in a playful way for all children.
