Traffic in Belém will be restricted for asphalt works starting this Monday (26)
Traffic flow on Visconde de Souza Franco and Almirante Tamandaré avenues will be altered from this Monday (26) to Thursday (29), from 6 PM to 6 AM

The traffic on Visconde de Souza Franco and Almirante Tamandaré Avenues in Belém will have nighttime alterations from this Monday (26) to Thursday (29), from 6 PM to 6 AM. The change is taking place to advance the asphalt paving works, which are being carried out and will benefit more than 35 neighborhoods and districts. The services are part of the legacies of COP30, the World Climate Conference, which will take place in the capital of Pará in November of this year.

– Tamandaré Avenue, between São Francisco and São Pedro Traverses;
– Visconde de Souza Franco Avenue, between Senator Lemos Avenue/28 de Setembro Street and Jerônimo Pimentel Street/Manoel Barata Street.

During this period and hours, the State Department of Public Works (Seop) advises drivers to use alternative routes, ensuring traffic flow and the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers.
Investment – The "Asphalt COP30" program, executed by the State Government and the City Hall of Belém, with support from the Federal Government through Itaipu Binacional, has a total investment of R$ 231,046,092.15. A total of 326 roads in more than 35 neighborhoods and districts of the capital will benefit, totaling 102.1 kilometers of works.
