This unprecedented initiative in the trajectory of the School of Public Governance of the State of Pará seeks to meet the training demand of state and municipal public servants. Therefore, the State Government, through the School of Public Governance of the State of Pará (EGPA), launched the announcement regarding the Selection Process for the undergraduate course in Technologist in Public Management, starting in 2026. According to the publication, the process will follow three phases and the course will last for two years.

The participation requirements are: to be an effective state or municipal public servant, to have proof of effective linkage with an agency or entity of the direct or indirect Public Administration, state or municipal. For municipal servants, only applications from municipalities that have a current technical cooperation agreement with EGPA will be accepted, which can be verified on the institution's website. The interested party must be in regular exercise of their functions, have a minimum education level, have a minimum service time of one year, and the approval of the immediate supervisor. The vacancies in this selection process will be distributed in three categories: municipal public servant, person with disabilities, and state public servant.

The application period for the undergraduate course in Technologist in Public Management, in-person, will be conducted exclusively, free of charge, through the EGPA website from August 11 to September 8, 2025, and the announcement of the selected candidates will be on October 14, 2025 on the governance school website.

According to Helvio Arruda, the general director of EGPA, the technological undergraduate course in Public Management now offered by EGPA will be a milestone in the history of the School. "This is a course authorized by the State Education Council of Pará with continuous, perennial admission, meaning that every semester we will receive 50 new students, permanently," explains the general director.

The Simplified Selection Process will consist of three phases:

First phase: application, selection of quotas according to Affirmative Action Policies, and confirmation of the application.

Second phase: analysis of the resume and high school or equivalent transcript.

Third phase: evaluation of the candidate's qualification documents for pre-registration, analyzing the documentation submitted to the affirmative policy.

The Simplified Selection Process will be coordinated by the Directorate of the Institute of Professional and Higher Education (Diseg) and by the Coordination of the Center for Undergraduate and Vocational Courses (CGP).
