São José Liberto Space is the stage for the 5th Edition of the Circular Amazon Fair in Belém
The event encompasses sustainable culture, entrepreneurship, and income generation opportunities, promoting connections between creators and consumers

The São José Liberto Space hosted the 5th edition of the Circular Amazon Fair, promoted by Casa Circular, co-organized by the Secretary of Economic Development, Mining and Energy (Sedeme), on Sunday (19). The fair covers various axes, such as sustainable culture, entrepreneurship, and income generation opportunities, promoting connections between creators and the consuming public.
The event's program offered a space for the commercialization of products, exchange of experiences, and networking among creators, consumers, and investors in the fashion sector. The initiative aims to encourage the work of circular fashion entrepreneurs, designers, and artisans from Pará, strengthening the creative economy with a focus on original, sustainable productions aligned with the principles of circular fashion.

On-site, visitors had the opportunity to check out a wide variety of items presented by around 30 local entrepreneurs, including innovative proposals for sustainable, circular, and original fashion. The event also featured the sale of various sustainable products developed from inputs from the Amazon rainforest, reflecting the creativity, cultural identity, and environmental commitment of the region.
Among the exhibitors, entrepreneurs Nazaré Moreira and Ana Carolina Muccari, mother and daughter, have been working for a year with a variety of wellness and botanical perfumery products, sustainably manufactured from inputs from the Amazon rainforest, valuing local knowledge and customs.
'I was an artisan for 20 years, and after my retirement, I decided to invest in a new field and enter the world of perfumery. I have always had an interest in this area, and this is the second time I participate in the Circular Amazon. Presenting my products at fairs and events, besides being an incentive, drives us forward,' said Nazaré.

She also highlighted the importance of the fair, held at the São José Liberto Space, as an opportunity to present to the public the economic potential of local products. 'Events promoted by the government or supported by government institutions are essential for entrepreneurs who need support to establish themselves in the market,' she concluded.
For the idealizer of the Creative Amazon fair and owner of Casa Circular, Liliane Obando, the fair promotes regional brands that work with conscious fashion, encompassing clothing, accessories, and cosmetics that value the biodiversity of the forests, in addition to local gastronomy and more. 'The initiative seeks to value the work of designers, artisans, and artists from Pará, strengthening the creative economy and encouraging sustainable practices. This is the second event we have held in partnership with Sedeme, through the São José Liberto Space, and we already have another edition scheduled for June 1st,' she added.

The Director of Industry, Commerce and Services Development (DDCIS/Sedeme), Sherry Brom Rodrigues, emphasizes that the main objective of the event is to increase the visibility of local products, creating opportunities for development and growth for the sector. In addition to strengthening the fashion production chain, the initiative reaffirms the State's commitment to sustainable development and the appreciation of the creative economy. By encouraging original and circular production, we seek not only to recognize local creativity but also to boost its presence in new markets. Our commitment is to promote economic advancement allied with sustainability, consolidating a more innovative, inclusive future connected to the riches of our region,' she highlighted.
