Usina da Paz celebrates 3 years with one million services in Parauapebas, Pará
The state citizenship complex has established itself as a reference in serving the population of the southeastern municipality
The Usina da Paz in the municipality of Parauapebas completes, this Sunday (18), three years of operation, establishing itself as a landmark of social transformation and citizenship in the southeastern region of Pará. Since its inauguration in 2022, the multifunctional complex of the State Government has promoted significant changes in the lives of thousands of residents, offering more than 70 free services in areas such as health, education, culture, sports, and entrepreneurship.
Located in the Jardim Tropical neighborhood, the unit was the fifth delivered by the Government in Pará and the first in the southeastern region of the state. Since its implementation, the state complex has already ensured more than 1 million services, benefiting people who, through the Usina da Paz, have managed to improve their daily lives.
People like resident Conceição Maria Chaves, who found a new source of income in the sewing courses offered by UsiPaz. “I started learning to sew here and it changed my life. Not just mine, but others as well. I know people who, even before finishing the course, have already found jobs. I was unemployed, so I decided to come here to learn something and work for myself. The services offered here are excellent. The Usina is very good for the community,” said Conceição.
Resident Ivaneide Maranhão shares that she learned to work with doll production through courses offered at the Usina da Paz in Parauapebas. “The Usina changed a lot in my life. I wanted to learn how to make dolls and never had the opportunity. I came here and was well attended. Congratulations to the Usina. I hope it continues like this, always helping the community,” she said.

Usina da Paz Parauapebas - The state citizenship complex offers more than 70 free services, such as medical and dental care, document issuance, technical and vocational training courses, school reinforcement, as well as community events and meetings.
The unit also features a covered sports court, swimming pool, and a dojo space for practicing sports activities, audiovisual and digital inclusion rooms, multipurpose space, as well as spaces for free courses and dance, robotics, musicalization, library, among others.
Public Safety - Like the other Usinas operating in Pará, UsiPaz Parauapebas also continues to be an important tool in combating violence, through the generation of opportunities for children, youth, adults, and the elderly.
Data released by the Secretary of Public Safety and Social Defense (Segup), through the Adjunct Secretary of Intelligence and Criminal Analysis (Siac), shows that the municipality achieved a 33.3% reduction in intentional lethal violent crimes (CVLI) and a 27.5% decrease in robberies. The data refers to the period from January 1 to May 4, 2025, compared to the same period in 2024.
The second Usina da Paz is under construction in Parauapebas - The State Government continues to work to ensure even more opportunities and services for the population of Parauapebas, through the construction of the second Usina da Paz in the municipality.
The new citizenship complex is under construction in an area located in the Guanabara neighborhood. The project is the result of a partnership between the Government of Pará and the company Vale.
