The Government of Pará and the Integrated Center for Inclusion and Rehabilitation (CIIR) received yet another international recognition for excellence in health management, rehabilitation, and sustainability. The award ceremony took place on Friday night (16), during the XVIII edition of the LAQI Impact Summit – Brazil, held at the Sheraton WTC in São Paulo.

On this occasion, CIIR was honored as "Brazilian Company of the Year 2025", in front of more than 600 specialists and national and international leaders. The award recognizes institutions committed to innovation, social impact, and sustainable governance, aligned with the United Nations (UN) 2030 Agenda.

Model of excellence and social impact

The award is part of the "Total Responsibility" strategy, based on the Latin American Excellence Model (LAEM), and highlights the performance of organizations that incorporate sustainable practices into their management. During the ceremony, CIIR was represented by its executive director, Rejane Xavier, who emphasized the ongoing commitment to quality care for People with Disabilities (PwDs).

"We serve our audience with efficiency and effectiveness, always striving to be a reference, with a forward-looking perspective. This recognition further strengthens that commitment. Receiving this award is an achievement for everyone: the Government of Pará, Sespa, our users, and the entire CIIR team," said the manager.

Humanized service and decentralization of care

The director also reinforced that the multidisciplinary team at CIIR focuses on the rehabilitation of people with physical, auditory, visual, and intellectual disabilities. The structure includes an outpatient clinic, orthopedic workshop, the Autism Spectrum Disorder Care Center (Natea), and the Specialized Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder (Cetea).

"This work trains professionals who can operate in regions that still do not have this model of care, promoting the decentralization of care," added Rejane Xavier.

CIIR already has other notable recognitions:

Recertification Qmentum International QGA, with a Diamond Accredited seal in the outpatient category — being the only public unit in the North and Northeast with this level;
Chico Mendes Socio-environmental Award 2024, with the Green Seal for the third consecutive time, in the Responsible Socio-environmental Action category.
These achievements reinforce the institution's role as a national reference in rehabilitation, guided by international quality standards.

Mission to expand access to health

For the Northern Operational Director of INDSH, José Neto, the award symbolizes the advancement of public policies in favor of PwDs.

"Bringing health and quality care to People with Disabilities is an imperative mission, especially in regions like the North. This award values the work already developed and projects CIIR as a national reference, increasing visibility and knowledge dissemination," he declared, thanking the support of Sespa and the State Government.
